Hi, friends!
My apologies for being such a "Debbie Downer" lately! I hope everyone is doing well, and enjoyed their extra hour of sleep last night! I feel like when the time changes for the fall and winter, my sleep schedule gets a little more back on track. I am and will forever be a night owl for sure, but now I actually start feeling sleepy when normal people start feeling sleepy. (What, you mean you start feeling sleepy before three in the morning?!)
I was just driving the other day thinking of all the things that could be done in just one hour. Here you go!
drink a cup of coffee
take a cat nap
beat traffic
sew a pillow together
do those day-old dishes
have lunch with an old friend
go for a jog
watch your favorite sit-com you've been missing for weeks
get a facial
get a facial
fold the laundry that's been sitting in the "clean" pile for days
get a new hair cut (hopefully by me!)
take a long luxurious bath
sleep in
paint a picture
re-arrange furniture
power shop for a fun new outfit (for that lunch date!)
These are just a few that I could think of. If we had an extra hour every day, we could all get so many things done! What if there really were 25 hours in the day, but one of them was specifically set aside for everyone in the world to do something good for themselves? That would be fantastic! Everyone deserves to do something good for themselves.
What I also love about the time change is that it gets darker faster, which means it gets cooler sooner, which means it gives people an excuse to SNUGGLE MORE! :) It also gives you an excuse to stop by your favorite local coffee shop and grab a nice hot white chocolate mocha!

Now, dears, go do something good for yourself!
